About 5 years ago we needed new carpeting – about 1000 square feet of it in fact, because our young children had completely trashed the carpet. The kids were still young though, and with lots of future carpet trashing to be expected, we wanted something much sturdier and stain resistant this time.
Bids from Home Depot, Empire, etc. were just ridiculous, and the quality of the carpet was suspect.
A friend recommended Contract Carpet. They zeroed in on EXACTLY what we needed immediately — and having raised boys themselves (they are a small, family owned business), they know what children can do to carpeting (no details necessary, if you have kids you know).
The price was incredible compared to the others. Our carpet was in stock and was installed within days.
That was almost five years ago. Today the carpet still looks brand new despite muddy shoes, magic markers, sick kids, dog, red Gatorade spills, etc. I just thought about them today when a friend asked where we got our carpet, and decided they needed to be yelped.
I read lots of reviews where someone raves about a service or a product that they’ve had for a few weeks or months…but it’s the test of time that is really important. These folks have met that test.

Just wanted to say thanks and commend you for the courtesy, helpfulness, and professionalism of your staff. When you goofed (by not giving my installer the pad) you took responsibility and corrected the mistake quickly. When we realized that, due to our contractor’s error, we did not have enough carpet, you went above and beyond in order to help us out. You got the carpet, kept us informed, and even dropped it off at our house! This is customer service the way it used to be and seldom is anymore.
